Knowledge Intensive Services - their meaning and characterization

Anotace anglicky

The general topic on which this project is oriented is tertiary sphere services, and according to the evaluation of the economic activity of the population which is engaged in them. Since the field of services is an extremely extensive one, the end of the twentieth century saw the beginnings of the separation of services into differing categories like Knowledge services ? or, according to other authors, professional services. The aim of the project is to analyse the services sector ? in which knowledgethat offers original solutions in many areas is highly intensively exploited. The development of these services is demanding on ?intellectual capital?, while being less demanding on capital investments, create high levels of ?value-added? and equally, bring in high profits.The key virtues of this project is the delimitation of knowledge services terminology under the conditions of the Czech Republic, the introduction and implementation of methodologies for the classification of the individual services within the framework of knowledge services and their recommendation for the further development of the Czech Republic.Its outputs should be useful and useable not only in the entrepreneurial sector, but also in the tuition of the given field?s problems and issues at schools with the appropriate orientation.
