The Sudetengau as an Air Raid Shelter of the Reich? (1939-1945)

Anotace anglicky

Solver of the project concentrated on topic which in existing research about the Sudetengau in years 1939-45 was not sufficiently described for now. Engages with the impact of bombing offensive of British and later American air force against Nazi Germanyon events the Sudetengau. Despite the fact that the first heavy air attack on the Sudetengau not happened until spring 1944, the air war proved here vicariously already at the end of 1942. Then the gau became so-called "receiving gau", where hundreds ofindustrial companies were transported and thousands of Reich-Germans came. However, how exactly was the Sudetengau, called by its exponents officially "air raid shelter of the Reich" prepared for the air war? What was the system of Reich air-raid protection here and how it works? What did it for the the Sudetengau mean that became a "receiving gau"? What was the form of the air war here and how did it affect the last year of gau´s existence. These are only several questions which solver deals with andfollows-up to his previous research concentrated on the area of contemporary North-west Bohemia.
