Anotace anglicky

The proposed project will provide the first survey of pictorial representations in printed material from presses on the territory of the Czech Republic from the 16th to the 18th centuries, stand as the first index of pictures of Bohemian towns and localities in foreign printed material from the 16th to the 16th centuries and make available to Czech and foreign scholars part of an unpublished bibliography of foreign-language bohemica published between 1501 and 1800 prepared by the ASCR Library. Thematerial will serve as sources for the history of books, art history, urban studies, the history of communications, education and entertainment. The preparation of high-quality reproductions of all the pictorial representations and the use of these copies in further studies will also contribute to the preservation of the original documents.
