Anotace anglicky

The main sense of the research in the computer science is the construction of advanced models of the information and control systems. The derivation of theoretical, mostly mathematical, tools for the processing of these models, as well as their development to the level of applied methods, is closely connected with it. The submitted project connects progressive research activities of the key institutes of the Academy in the field of computer science and cybernetics. Its significant feature is the respectto the complexity and uncertainty existing in the real systems of information processing in the models of optimization and information systems. It is possible to understand this project as an aggregation of research activities focused to the problems ofprocessing of knowledge contaminated by uncertainty, development of effective methods for design of systems of optimal control and tools for processing random events.
