Anotace anglicky

The cast iron was produced in Plasy for 50 years during the 19th century (1827 - 1975) Production of the cast iron in smelting works corresponded to technologies of that time but all the products are considered as fist-rate. Especially artistic cast ironproducts were well-known in all the Kingdom of Bohemia. Today, we can find these firs-rate products especially in the region (of) Pilsen-North. They are exhibited in the regional museum in Mariánská Týnice. There are concentrated the most famous. All the relics (monuments, crucufixes, baniesters, lamp-posts, public fountains) werenot repaired regularly during the years and so some of them were doomed to destruction. In 1997, the program of regeneration of the cast iron products made in Plasy started inassistance of MK ČR with conservator J. Kovařík. Nowadays, the first part of the project - areal of St. Venceslas - is nearly finished. Technological procedure of restoration will be mentioned in the closhing report.
