Anotace anglicky

The project of development of the European centre of Charles University aims at strengthening the role of the university as an excellent research institution in European academic environment. The centre should support researchers and teams in the processes of design and submission of scientific project for European programmes such as Horizon 2020 and others. The services provided by the centre are supposed to enable individuals and teams to be competitive in tenders open to all European universities and other research entities. The project itself targets several goals.Firstly we would create a website and newsletter focused on open calls and other relevant information about European research programmes. The centre would also organise a seminar for the staff of the European centre and the grant departments of the faculties of CU/scientists to learn more about how to submit a successful application for the Horizon 2020. Second goal of this project is to use the opportunity of job shadowing of the staff of the European centre in centres for research or grant departments of the foreign universities from spring to autumn 2016. In October 2016 we would also like to organise European “staff training week” which will be open to staff from the grant departments, European centres or research centres of foreign universities. Another goal of the project is the visit to European institutions located in Brussels in cooperation with the Czech liaison office for research, development and innovation. At the end of the project duration we would like to organise a seminar where the experiences and benefits of the whole EUPRO II project will be disseminated and the role of the Czech Ministry of youth, education and sports would be stressed. At the final stage of the project the centre would prepare a publication for the staff of the Charles University, summarizing the examples of good practices in European research projects and advises how to proceed to submit a successful application.

Zhodnocení výsledků projektu

Na Univerzitě Karlově úspěšně proběhl projekt LE 15032 Evropské centrum Univerzity Karlovy. I díky tomuto projektu se podařilo úspěšně realizovat řadu akcí na podporu vědy v ČR s mezinárodní účastí. Díky projektu se rovněž konsolidoval tým centra a jeho členy bylo možné vyslat na školení na prestižní zahraniční univerzity. Prohloubila se znalost vědců na UK o možnostech grantového financování a možnostech podpory, kterou od týmu mohou očekávat při psaní evropského projektu.
