Partial solution to the problems of draft prospects thematic areas of research, development and innovation, reflecting the context, content and scope of the so-called. The fourth industrial revolution (ie. The concept of Industry 4.0), more information on the subject solution.  The research project aims to analyze the conditions under which the Czech industry did not develop in isolation but were prepared to adapt to world trends and be able to use communication and production facilities, which will be included in global-customer supply chains are compatible and interoperable. Creating the physical and cyber systems not only gives new possibilities for production and communication in production in companies, but also between firms themselves. SMEs in particular are to be placed entirely new situation, which for them may not be easily manageable. The aim of this project and follow-up (this project can be considered as the first stage of a larger research that will follow the program BETA2) is to identify a situation in which, in relation to the issue of Industry 4.0 SMEs in the Czech Republic are located, whether they are principles Industry 4.0 known, whether the company for these challenges can respond, under what conditions and at what time. General: Whether SMEs in the Czech Republic prepared for Industry 4.0. Following the desired result is required to address this issue as meeting the objective of the following: Given the complexity of the issue, the project is divided into two or more parts related to each other. The first part will focus on monitoring the state using the principles in Industry 4.0 SMEs and the neighboring countries (especially Germany) according to the above questions.
