Data usability from BIM models for the development of National Infrastructure for Spatial Information

Anotace anglicky

The objective of the need is to establish the conditions and implementation process for ensuring the data usability from BIM (Building Information Model) for the development of the National Infrastructure for Spatial Information (NIPI), including the quantification of the related financial need. Use experience from abroad and from the Czech republic and apply them to the development of BIM and the use of linked data in different areas. Activities relate to research and development, advancing standardization or implementation at national and international levels, including related legislative enshrining. The intersection of BIM and NIPI is directly contingent on key initiatives in terms of the objective of the need (Government's Digital Czech Strategy, Acts No. 12/2020 Coll., 47/2020 Coll. and 183/2006 Coll., European Data Strategy communicated by the European Commission 19. 2. 2020). Specifications of the content and procedures for modeling of the built environment is a prerequisite for the application of the linking BIM and NIPI. The concept of the introduction of the BIM method in the Czech Republic (BIM concept) imposes the obligation to use BIM for the above threshold public tenders for building operations. Output from BIM can be used as one of the sources for information modelling of the built environment and creation of so-called the digital twin of the built environment of the Czech Republic. A number of tasks can be formulated to use the built environment model. The need solution in the form of applied research is therefore, given the current state of knowledge and the dynamic development of related areas, a necessary condition for the subsequent implementation of this task imposed on the Ministry of the Interior by the government of the Czech Republic.
