Anotace anglicky

The aim of the project is to support the process of commercialization of research and development results that have a high potential for practical application in the critical PoC phase. The most promising sub-projects will be supported, for which it is not currently possible to obtain financial resources for the PoC verification phase directly from the investment, or industrial sphere and at the same time there are not enough funds available in the financial resources of the university to fully finance the verification of their application potential. The project will build on the successfully implemented UPCE projects under the GAMA and GAMA 2 programmes. The aim of the present project is to offer the opportunity to young promising researchers to implement PoC projects. Therefore, during the project implementation, at least two special internal calls will be announced for support of sub-projects, whose responsible researcher will be a researcher within five years from the successful defence of the doctoral dissertation. These internal calls for “juniors” will be launched in parallel with the internal calls for all researchers without restriction (the plan is to launch at least 3 such calls during the project implementation). Furthermore, in internal calls for sub-projects, emphasis will be placed on the formation of multidisciplinary research teams consisting of researchers from technical or humanities faculties as well as academic staff of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, who will play a managerial, analytical-financial and marketing role. The main emphasis in knowledge transfer will be on licensing of proven technologies and implementation of research cooperation with enterprises aimed at transfer of proven technology. Technologies with potential for commercialization in the form of spin-off companies and start-up companies will also be supported and validated. It is envisaged to support approximately 12-14 new sub-projects during the implementation.
