Anotace anglicky

The main objective of the presented project "Verification of a new methodology for working with PoC projects in ELI Beamlines" is the creation and verification of the functionality of a complex system for working with proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, the goal of which is the highest possible success of outputs in real commercialization. This system (methodology) includes the processes of identification, selection, assessment and implementation of individual sub-projects, including their control and evaluation based on the established success criteria of PoC projects. The system and processes of PoC project support are newly introduced at ELI Beamlines, although in many respects they are based on the experience gained from the implementation of the GAMA and GAMA2 projects at the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v.v.i., of which ELI Beamlines was a part until 12/31/2022. The presented project also has the following sub-objective: Sub-obj. 1 – with the help of the methodology described in the PoC Directive (Appendix 01) select min. 8 sub-projects and thereby practically verify the functionality of the proposed methodology for working with PoC projects in ELI Beamlines. Sub-obj. 2 – start the activities of the newly established Commercialization Council (RpK) and involve it in the process of selecting PoC projects that will be implemented with the aim of bringing them closer to real commercialization. Sub-obj. 3 – practically set new ones and consolidate, possibly re-evaluate the existing cooperation processes of the technology transfer department (TT) with PoC project solvers and RpK. Sub-obj. 4 – to create a functional incentive program for internal scientific teams that develop new technologies and solutions both for use in ELI Beamlines and in cooperation with external users. Sub-obj. 5 - describe and finally evaluate the progress of the work within individual pilot PoC projects with the aim of confirming.
