Public administration in the field of foreign and development cooperation and humanitarian aid has long faced challenges associated with the effective collection, management and use of digital data. Currently, there are several systems used for recording and presenting data (Grantys, ODAstat, CEDR, Mapotic, etc.), which have specific basic uses in terms of the goals of digitalization of public administration and the goals of working with relevant data. Their parallel operation leads to duplication, insufficient or late use of information, increased administrative burden and limited transparency towards the public and international partners. The aim of the project is to propose, based on critical analysis, an overall optimization and recommend variants of data management in the field of foreign and development cooperation and humanitarian aid, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency, transparency and quality of data management in public administration. The aim of the project is to analyze and evaluate existing tools and processes, identify their weaknesses and examine the possibilities of their transformation, interconnection or replacement with integrated and modern solutions. The project is based on research uncertainty as to whether it is more appropriate to optimize, unify, or replace existing systems with a new, more comprehensive and technologically innovative approach. It is also essential to experimentally verify, based on an analysis of needs and existing procedures, whether and how innovative approaches to data management – ??including automation, data integration, and visualization – can contribute to more effective decision-making, more efficient monitoring, meeting the goals of digitizing public administration, and strengthening the public presentation of data and thus the transparency of foreign and development cooperation and humanitarian aid.
