Prospective telecommunication systems will utilise frequency bands 38 GHz and 58 GHz. Calculations of performance and reliability of such systems according to ITU-R recommendations lack precision due to missing necessary radio and radio-meteorological data for our climatic conditions. The outcome of the project will significantly contribute to realistic calculations of the performance and reliability of new telecommunication services.
