Non-destructive and non-invasive analytical techniques are of great interest for the analysis of the artworks. Raman spectroscopy is one of the most promising technique for the analysis of paintings because it enables identification of most of the pigments as well as some organic binding media. Non-invasive Raman spectroscopy with fiber optics is convenient method when sampling is not possible.
