Presented paper is based on thermo-mechanical fatigue analysis of the generator turbine. The mechanical loading and effects based on the temperature gradient were stated as the most important factors in operational life and in design process, respectively. An application of published damage operator approach to analysis of low cycle thermo-mechanical fatigue is presented. Both alternating temperature and mechanical loading are taken into account and damage progression is computed during the loading. Theprocedure was implemented and applied to the generator turbine loaded with basic spectrum.Presented paper is based on thermo-mechanical fatigue analysis of the generator turbine.
