This work aims to provide an overview of CoFeMnMoNi High entropy alloy (HEA) coat ings prepared by electrodeposition from water solution. A pplication of e lectrodeposition in this field is not widespread and particularly from an aqueous medium is indeed unique. HEA coating was deposited on steel. The emphasis of this research is placed o n corrosion and adhesion properties of the prepared thin layers. Corrosion resistance of the coatings has been proven by salt spray test. Scratch test was performed on selected coatings to assess their adhesive properties. The morphology of the deposited c oatings was monitored by SEM (Scanning electron microscopy) and qualitative and quantitative information of these samples were determined by XRF (X -ray fluorescence).
