In 2002, experimental base for investigation of thinning in the Czech Republic consists of 61 objects. In the stands of experimental objects a wide spectrum of tree species is represented, mainly spruce (Picea abies Karst.), pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), oak (Quercus sp.), birch (Betula sp.) and blue spruce (Picea pungens Engelm.). All data bases are digitized and saved for additional data processing. At present, the register of experimantal base is published on http://vulhm.opocno.cz and can be used in investigation of the new projects, and also in consulting, expert and pedagogic activity.
