A contribution about in vitro department of VÚLHM was presented at an international forestry meeting in Wermsdorf. The main aim was to inform the participants about the Czech national bank of tree explants – about in vitro methods, which are carried out in our institute, and about their possible benefit for endangered species cultivation. Healthy explants can be then transfered ex vitro and subsequently used for reforestration.
