Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

Species of the genus Sparedrus Megerle in Dejean, 1821 from central part of the Palaearctic region and western part of Oriental region are revised, illustrated and keys for their identification are provided. Four species groups are established and defined for 25 hitherto known species of the examined region. 21 new species are described and illustrated. Five hitherto known species are redescribed. Following new combinations are proposed: Sparedrus albipilis (Švihla, 1983), comb. nov., S. longicornis (Iablokoff-Khnzorjan, 1970), comb. nov. and S. unicolor (Švihla, 1982), comb. nov., all transferred from Sparedropsis Heyden in Heyden et Kraatz, 1886.
