We provide the results of faunistic surveys of Hemiptera, namely leafhoppers (Cicadomorpha), planthoppers (Fulgoromorpha), true bugs (Heteroptera) and jumping plant-lice (Sternorrhyncha: Psylloidea), in 15 relatively well-preserved dry grassland sites situated mainly in the Pannonian part of southern Moravia (Czech Republic) and designated as Sites of Community Importance under the European Commission Directive on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (92/43/EEC). Most of thedata were collected in 2009, by sweep-netting and direct search for specimens on their host plants or on the ground. In total, 548 species of Hemiptera (Cicadomorpha, 203 spp.; Fulgoromorpha, 44 spp.; Heteroptera, 264 spp.; Psylloidea, 37 spp.) are recorded, with a high proportion of species classified in the national red list of threatened invertebrates (118 spp., i.e. 22 %) as well as species that reach the northernmost limit of their distribution in southern Moravia or do not occur el
