Upper Palaeozoic fill of the CBUPB was evaluated in terms of CO2 geological storage potential. Aquifer bodies were defined, pore volumes determined and theoretical and effective capacities were calculated. Preliminary basin model was constructed and themost promise storage areas were selected. Petropfysical propereties are being re-evaluated to develop reservoir model and consequent CO2 injection simulations.
