A two-stage evolution model for the Amantaytau orogenic-type gold deposit in Uzbekistan
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The study of barren, low- and high-Au mineralized samples from Amantaytau, a shear-zone hosted gold deposit, showed that the local host rock acted as an important source of Au, As, Ni and S in the formation of the deposit. This lithogeochemical signatureis also evident from the chemistry of syn-depositional pyrite in these shales, which contains average Au, As and Ni concentrations of 0.34, 1658 and 1971 ppm, respectively. Distributions of REE indicate a homogeneous source of LREE, while HREE reflect most likely primary variation in the sediments. The mineralized zone is marked by a positive Eu anomaly, which supports reducing conditions during the mineralization. The hydrothermal overprint by an aqueous and a carbonic fluid component was documented in a high-Au mineralized sample (13C = -13.0 promile). The 34S values in pyrite (?0.13 to +7.30 promile) from barren and mineralized samples are consistent with marine sulfate being a principal source of the ore sulfur. Qua
