Various soil process models were applied to the four main SoilTrEC project Critical Zone Observatories in Europe (Damma, Fuchsenbigl/Marchfeld, Slavkov Forest including Lysina, Koiliaris). The critical zone modelling led to further developments of the model subroutines, with incorporation of more processes.
