Photo-degradation products of polyurethane foam with enhanced biodegradability
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This study focuses attention to the identification of photodegradation products of polyurethane foams with enhanced biodegradability, resulting from partial replacement of synthetic polyols by bio-originated and biodegradable ones during polyurethane synthesis. The tested materials were irradiated by UV-light. Volatile compounds were sorbed during irradiation using SPME and analyzed by comprehensive orthogonal two-dimensional gas chromatography ? mass spectrometry (GCxGC/TOF MS). Semivolatile compoundswere extracted from exposed polyurethane foam by n-hexane and analyzed by gas chromatography ? mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Large number of structurally diverse compounds was detected; most of them were identified. The influence of biodegradable filler onthe composition of photodegradation products was also assessed.
