The website of the Geoscience Information Consortium (GIC) contains an informative part for the public and a part for authorized users with detailed content. The mission of GIC is the exchange of information among Geological Survey Organisations (GSOs) related to the use and management of geoscience information systems in support of the Earth sciences at the international level. Membership is open to all national Geological Survey Organisations who wish to contribute to the improved understanding of geoscience information systems.
