Comprehensive overview of calcareous nannofossils and mutual biostratigraphic correlations for the Cenomanian-Coniacian epicontinental deposits of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin and the Cenomanian-Maastrichtian flysch strata of the Outer Western Carpathians in the territory of the Czech Republic are summarized. Common/acme Marthasterites furcatus within the Turonian-Coniacian and Santonian-Campanian boundary intervals, pulses in abundance of Braarudosphaera bigelowii, gradual penetration of high-latitude taxa into the NW part of Tethys during Campanian and Maastrichtian, and, vice versa, the input of low-latitude taxa in the uppermost Maastrichtian related to the Deccan volcanism are mentioned. A comparison of nannofossils in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, in Outer Flysch Carpathians, and in deposits of the Gosau Group, Northern Calcareous Alps is also presented.
