Final technical report of the CO2-SPICER project - TO01000112-V7
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The essence of the CO2-SPICER project was to perform the preparatory work for a CO2 storage pilot project, the first in Central and Eastern Europe, in a mature and depleted oil and gas field in the SE Czech Republic. The achieved project results may serve as ready-made input required by the legislation for the implementation follow-up activities. CO2-SPICER significantly increased the Technology Readiness Level of CO2 geological storage in the Czech Republic and made an important step towards practical deployment of the CCS technology. The key research partners CGS and NORCE had a long record of joint research activities. Both organisation have been members of the CO2GeoNet - the European network of excellence on geological storage of CO2 and have, together, closely cooperated in a number of international projects including in Norway Grants (projects TOGEOS and REPP-CO2) and Horizon 2020 programme (project ENOS). In summary, the results of the CO2-SPICER project goals were successfully completed and the scientific papers are being handled by the Editorial offices. Communication with the End-User Group has been intensified, some of them contributed to the Final project conference in Praha in March 2024.
