At two sites in Czechia production and persistence of 17 grass varieties and 2 genus hybrids heve been determined since 1986. The trial plots were established at Jevvicko (333m ASL, ave temp. 7.5 C, ave annual rainfall 629 mm) and at Liberec (420 M, 7.1C, 918 mm). At Jevicko, the trials were established as simple grass-legume mixtures with red clover and white clover, at Liberec pure culture was used. Plots were fertilised with 240 kg/ha N+P35K100 and utilised in three harvests.
