Effect of different soil treatment on nitrates production in euthric Cambisol.
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Effect of different terms and ways of soil treatment after clover on nitrate production in soil and nitrification ability of soil in both autumn and spring period was studied in field trial on euthric Cambisol. In November, the highest contents of nitrate N in soil laye 0-0.0 m were repeatedly found after soil ploughing in the first decade of Serptember. During following extra-vegetative period, the leaching of nitrate N to bottom soil layers took place. Nitrate formation in soil was decreased by reduced tillage up to 0.08 m depth before winter wheat seeding. In November, the nitrate N content in the soil layer 0-0.9 m was always lower by 27-58 kg/ha in case of reduced soil treatment than after ploughing. The values of potential nitrification ability of topsoil in both November and March were found lower for soil after reduced tillage. Nitrate formation and leaching were also limited by clover ploughing in soil in November or at the end of winter and consequent oat seeding. in November
