Allometric relationship between the size of the supporting parts of the inflorescence that remai undemaged (pedunclevolume and thalamus area) and total number of mass of seeds and one seed mass were investigated. Allometric relationships remained stableduring the 20 days period of study. Although the allometric relationships were highly prediction of seed number or mass within a capitulum was not sufficiently precise to be usefull for estimating predator food consumption.
