Two generations of doubled haploid regenerants were developed from initial genetic resources of recessive sporophytic self-incompatibility (SI) with insufficient seed quality using microspore cultures. In the second generation derived from hybrids of SIplants and 00 quality donors 9 SI regenerants were obtained with satisfactory seed quality parameters. The total number of derived SI regenerants was 87 i.e. 38.2 % from 228 doubled haploid (DH) regenerants with normal developed anthers. The seed-set test concurrently with PCR analyse for SLG gene were used for detection of AI plants in doubled haploids population. The correlation coefficient between these methods of SI detection was r = 0,889**. Nine plants from the 45 SI DH analysed regenerants, developed in 2004 contained lower erucic acid content than 2%. Ten plants were analysed for GSL content. From them nine plants had lower glucosinolate (GSL) content than is the limit, 18 ?mol /g by 9 % of seed moisture and only one plant was o
