In a field microplot experiments with winter wheat was compared influence of application of various forms of nitrogen on the utilization of nitrogen by plants. The highest utilization of nitrogen by plants from the fertilizers applied at the beginning ofspringtime growing season was by nitrate forms of nitrogen, followed urea and ammonium form of nitrogen. Urease inhibitor had favourable effect upon increase of effectiveness of urea fertilization. Nitrification inhibitor added to urea with urease inhibitor had a negative effect on uptake of nitrogen by plants in comparison with urea with urease inhibitor treatment.
