Multivariate analysis of relationship between potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) yield, amount of applied elements, their concentrations in tubers and uptake in a long-term fertilizer experiment
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Long-term fertilizer application resulted in high gradient of P and K availability in studied treatments. Plant available (Mehlich III) soil concentrations of P below 30 mg kg-1 and K below 150 mg kg-1 are not adequate for satisfactory tuber production. No positive effect of long-term straw application on tuber yield was recorded. Optimal application rate of mineral fertilizers resulting in tuber yield above 30 t ha-1 was 140 kg N, 63 kg P and 186 kg K per ha. The highest environmentally acceptable N application rate for potatoes was determined on 120 kg N ha-1 applied in the form of mineral fertilizer. Substantially higher production efficiency of mineral NPK fertilizers that production efficiency of pig slurry was recorded. Concentration of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb, and Zn in tubers was not significantly affected by fertilizer treatment although pig slurry supplied the soil by substantially higher amount of Cu and Zn than was taken up by tubers.
