Balance of Selected Trace Elements at Cup-plant Cultivation for Biogas Production Compared to Reference Maize
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The abstract is focused on the evaluation of cup plant (Silphium perfoliatum) cropping for biogas production in comparison to maize, for these purposes considered the reference crop. Based on the results of long-term trials were also evaluated the yield and quality of plant production in terms of feeding and biogas production. It was found that the cup plant is one of the few plants capable to compete to maize by yield and biogas production, while considering the cup-plant endurance and high yields are the specific costs per unit of biomass and biogas lower of about 2-2.5. The cup-plant long life also provides significant soil conservation and erosion control effect by its cultivation as compared with maize.
