Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper shows results of biosystematic revision of brambles in the Cape Floristic Region, South Africa, including determination key, morphological descriptions and notes on nomenclature, distribution and ecology. On the basis of herbarium revision and field work, eight taxa have been recognized; two native (R. pinnatus, R. rigidus agg.), four introduced (R. armeniacus, R. bergii, R. rosifolius, R. titanus) and two hybrids of native and introduced taxa. Rubus armeniacus and R. titanus are recorded from South Africa for the first time. Ploidy level is provided for all af the taxa as determined by flow cytometry.
