Der Workshop fand im Rahmen des Abschlusstreffens des tschechisch-sächsischen Projekts "Nachhaltiges Management von Grünland-Biotopen zur Förderung der Artenvielfalt" im Gebäude des Rathauses von Zittau zusammen mit Kollegen der TU Dresden-IHI Zittau statt. An der Veranstaltung nahmen Vertreter aller Projektpartner, Vertreter der Naturschutzbehörden beider Länder, Mitarbeiter der Umweltabteilung der Kommunalbehörden des Projektgebiets und viele andere interessierte Personen aus der Fachöffentlichkeit beider Länder teil. Es wurden Vorträge zur Entwicklung der Artenvielfalt von Grünland im Projektgebiet gehalten, aber auch die Erfahrungen von Kollegen aus anderen Gebieten (Osterzgebirge, Elbesandsteine, České středohoří, Krnap). Probleme der Grünlandbewirtschaftung unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Instandhaltung bzw. Verbesserung der Artenvielfalt.

The workshop was held in the building of the Zittau town hall within the final meeting of the Czech-Saxon project "Sustainable Grassland Management for Biodiversity Promotion" together with colleagues from TU Dresden-IHI Zittau. It was attended by representatives of all project partners, members of nature conservation authorities of both countries, workers from municipal authorities in the project area and many other interested persons from the professional public of both countries. Lectures on the development of grassland biodiversity in the project area were presented, but also the experiences of colleagues from other areas (Osterzgebirge, Elbe Sandstones, České středohoří, KRNAP) were presented. Problems of grassland management from the point of view of maintenance or improvement of species diversity were discussed.
