This report is submitted by the Czech Republic in line with Article 31 (2) of the Renewable Energy Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED II), which states that:"Member States may submit to the Commission reports including information on the typical greenhouse gas emissions from the cultivation of agricultural raw materials of the areas on their territory classified as level 2 in the nomenclature of territorial units for statistics (NUTS) or as a more disaggregated NUTS level in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1059/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council (27). Those reports shall be accompanied by a description of the method and data sources used to calculate the level of emissions. That method shall take into account soil characteristics, climate and expected raw material yields."For easy verification of calculation procedures and calculation relationships, a computational model is provided in the form of an Excel file for all crops evaluated. For each row, the source of the activity data, the source of the emission factor values used, and the source of the formulas used are indicated.
