Der Einfluss der Rasse, der Marktsituation und der Prämienzahlungen auf die relative Bedeutung von 15 Merkmalen in der Fleischrinderzucht mit Weidehaltung und anschließender intensiver Mast wurde untersucht. In der unterstellten Ausgangsituation wurden bei der Rasse Aberdeen Angus die Nutzungsdauer der Kühe, das Kuhgewicht, der Kalbeverlauf, das Absetzgewicht und die Schlachtausbeute als wichitgste Merkmale bewertet. Bei der Rasse Charolais waren die zwei wichtigsten Merkmale Kalbeverlauf und Nutzungsdauer der Kühe. Mit Abstand folgten dann die Kälberverluste bei der Abkalbung, die Trächtigkeitsrate der Kühe und die Schlachtausbeute. Mit Ausnahme des Kuhgewichts war die relative ökonomische Bedeutung der untersuchten Merkmale relativ unempfindlich gegenüber Schwankungen in den Produktpreisen und Kosten. Die Prämienzahlungen hatten einen großen Einfluss auf die relativen ökonomischen Werte der Merkmale, da sie für die Produktivität des gesamten Produktionssystems entscheidend waren.

Impact of different economical and production circumstances on the relative importance of traits in beef cattle breeding

The impact of breed, economic input parameters and governmental subsidies on the relative economic importance of 15 beef cattle traits in a pasture system with intensive feedlot was investigated. For the basic situation that corresponded to the present situation in the Czech Republic, the following traits were most important for the Aberdeen Angus breed: cow longevity, mature weight of cows, calving performance, weight at weaning and dressing percentage. For the Charolais breed, the two most important traits were calving performance and cow longevity. Calf losses at calving, cow conception rate and dressing percentage followed with big distance. Excluding the cow weight, the relative importance of investigated traits was relatively insensitive to changes in product prices and in costs. Governmental subsidies had an important influence on the relative economic values of traits because they determined the production efficiency of the whole system.
