Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

This part of the program package ECOWEIGHT contains two programs for the calculation of economic weights (economic importance) of traits for beef (EWBC) and dairy (EWDC) cattle. In comparison with Version 5.1.1 published in 2011, in Version 5.3.2 considerable changes and improvements have been made documented in the Manual in Appendix B8 for beef cattle and C9 to C10 for dairy cattle. Besides of a basic revision of both programs and the manual, the main news in this version are the addition of the traitresidual feed intake for different animal categories (heifers, cows, fattened animals and for dairy cattle also calves) in both programs and of the trait claw disease incidence in the program for dairy cattle. The programs are written in C, the source code and compiled versions for Windows, LINUX-32bit and LINUX-64bit are made available as freeware.
