Vertical variation of soil properties in selected forest soil profiles
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The objective of the project focused on forest soils is to make a methodology and criteria for evaluating the contamination risk of forest soil by potentially risky elements and persistent organic pollutants based on risk evaluation. Forest ecosystem hascertain specific characteristics that influence the fate, distribution and retention of risky elements and substances in forest soils. Forest soil samples were taken according to the methodology in accordance with the categories of forest vegetation zones. The results of soil analyses show that soils of all observed localities are acidic to strongly acidic, with a wide range of base saturation of the sorption complex from the extremely unsaturated to fully saturated. Very diverse are also nitrogen mineral forms levels; highest levels of nitrate and ammonium nitrogen vere found in the overlying organic horizons. The results of the analysis of variance indicate that all observed soil characteristics are significantly influenced by sampli
