In the frame of the international programme UNECE ICP-Vegetation, concentrations of elements in moss were determined at the territory of Poland (8 elements), Hungaria (8 elements), Slovakia (44 elements) and the Czech Republic (36 elemenst) in 2000. On the whole, contents of 53 elements were determined. CD-ROM provides colour classed post maps and isopleth maps of the element distributions in the Visegrad space. Revealed hot spots and their potential causes are commented. The determined contents of elements in moss were correlated with altitude of the monitoring plots.
