The contribution features data on the occurrence of plants introduced mostly by the year 1979 via grain railway transports from the territory of former USSR (mostly South of Ukraine, South-East of the European part of Russia, Central Asia) to 3 selectedreloading railway stations (Čierna nad Tisou and its broader vicinity) in ?Východoslovenská nížina? (East-Slovakian Plain) in the Slovak Republic, predominantly from the years 1964?1998. On these localities, approximately 500 species of vascular plants are present of which around one third of species are more important with regard to phytogeography (total 144 species). For the first time, three following species are also published for the flora of Slovakia, introduced into the reloading station in Čierna nad Tisou from the East: Artemisia dniproica Klokov (the species found for the first time in the year 1968), Lappula consanguinea (Fisch. et C.A. Meyer) Gürke (1964), Centaurea adpressa (Ledeb.) Prodan (1979).
