Background: The authors describe the first year of experience with the impact of the war in Ukraine on the incidence of tuberculosis in the Czech Republic and its comparison with previous five years. Methods: The methodology is based on statistical analysis of notified cases in the Tuberculosis Register and statistical analysis of trends in the previous 5 years period. Results: The result is a significant increase in the proportion of Ukrainian patients in notified TB cases in children and adults and a moderate increase in the overall incidence of TB in the Czech Republic.
