The first publication focusing on luxury and decorative production of the companies S. Reich & Co. and J. Schreiber & Neffen, until now somehow neglected by researchers. The basic source for study were the products themselves, as well as samplers and company catalogues. Taking into account also the other fields of glass manufacturing of the Reichs and Schreibers (production of utility and lighting glass), the author pays special attention to the quality and aesthetic value of thier luxury and decorativeglass. The book further introduces archive material, deposted in the funds of The Provincial Archives in Opava, or of the company Rona, a.s.
