Das letzte Drittel des 15. Jahrhunderts stellte eine Periode der grossen Änderungen im schlesischen Herzogtum Glogau dar. Dieser Wandel bestimmte das innere Funktionieren des Landes tief in der frühen Neuzeit. Es ging um eine ganz neue Distribution von Macht zwischen den Ständen und dem Herzog einerseits und zwischen den einzelnen Ständen anderseits.

The final one-third of the 15th century was a period of great changes in the Silesian Duchy of Głogów; in general term these laid out the internal functioning of the country for the whole of the upcoming early modern period. The essence of this was a newdistribution of power both between the estates and the weakening power of the local lord, but mainly between the various estates themselves.
