Thermal properties such as thermal conductivity or resistivity are very important in industry and many engineering applications. Nowadays, in the European Union, information about thermal conductivity and resistivity values plays key role especially in thermal insulation products for building equipment and industrial installations. The proposed paper presents Czech metrology institutes (CMI) laboratory for thermal properties measurements. It focuses on description of equipment from the field of thermalconductivity/resistivity and humidity measurements used by metrological laboratories in the world. Based on this knowledge, there are described solutions designed by CMI, which present improvements that should allow operating these instruments with higher accuracy and lower uncertainties.
