In this article, we describe the development of the industrial ultrasonic thermometer based on waveguide with a constant length. The design of this instrument is focused on robust design suitable for heavy industrial processes. The piezo signal is generated by using of commercial available ultrasonic level meter. Waveguide is closed and is equipped with a valve that allows to work at different pressures and it is possible to perform measure in various gaseous atmospheres. On the waveguide is connected an accurate industrial pressure transmitter ROSEMOUNT. Signals are connected to the personal computer using digital communication. Special software was also developed. This allows us to perform calculations, logging of the data and creating graphical records. The measurement was done in different pressures to allow extrapolation to zero pressure. There will be presented results of the repeatability and drift by using of water and ethanol calibration bath. There will be developed a mathema
