Immune-related (IR) colitis appears in 1%-15% of patient metastatic melanoma cases treated with anti-PD-1 +/- anti-CTLA-4 monoclonal antibody. Systemic corticosteroids (CS) are part of the standard treatment of IR colitis with a 47% response rate. Infliximab is then an alternative, with 41% response rate. Finally, the rest of the IR colitis are infliximab-refractory. A 34-year old female patient with fast progressing BRAF mutated metastatic melanoma was initially treated with BRAF and MEK inhibitors.
