On 10 and 11 October, the 2nd Annual Conference of the National Institute for Neurological Research (project No. LX22NPO5107) was held in Prague under the auspices of Prof. Robert Jech, Head of the Neurological Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital of Prague, and Prof. Vladimír Komárek, Dean of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine. The conference brought together clinicians and leading researchers in the fields of neurology, neuropsychology, neuropathology and genetics in neurology from across the Czech Republic as well as our international collaborators. At the conference, they learned about the latest trends in global research and presented their own research. Thus, there was a unique sharing of information by research and clinical departments across the Czech Republic. The creation of the National Institute for Neurological Research in this way allows to connect a number of scientific teams, coordinate their research activities and apply their results to hospital practice.
