Das Kapitel befasst sich mit der Geschichte der Entstehung des Hospitals in Kuks (Böhmen). Ursprüngliche adelige Fundation des Grafen Franz Anton von Sporck für das Orden der Barmherzigen Brüdern aus dem Jahre 1696 wurde 1711 modifiziert und endlich erst im Jahre 1744 realisiert. Gefolgt ist die Genese der Entwicklung des Hospitals als Institution, seiner Verwaltung und weiter auch die finanzielle Sicherung, der Umfang der gelieferten Diensten und die Gründung von Krankenhaus und Apotheke.

The text pursues the process of establishment of hospital as an institution, its administration, financing, scale of services and foundation of hospital pharmacy.
