Der Band versammelt Aufsätze zu literarischen Konstellationen in Prag - und dies über die meist nur behandelte Kernzeit der klassischen Moderne der Prager deutschen Literatur hinaus. Das Ziel liegt darin, den Blick auf die epochenspezifischen Besonderheiten der deutschsprachigen Literatur aus Prag zu erweitern und die Sicht für neuere literaturhistorische und kulturwissenschaftliche Forschungskonzepte zu öffnen. Im Mittelpunkt steht somit die Engführung der Prag-Literatur verschiedner Sprachkulturen undverschiedener Zeiten vom 18. bis zum 20. Jahrhundert.

The volume collects essays on the literary constellations in Prague - and does this beyond the time of classical modernism of the Prague German literature, which is usually treated in the germanistic approaches. The goal is to expand the view on the special features of different periods of German literature from Prague and to open the view for recent literary history and cultural science research concepts. The focus thus is the narrowing of the literature from and above Prague of various languages, cultures and different times from the 18th to the 20th century.
